What we collect

For event hosts: your username, email address, and the event details you configure (event name, date, location, questions, and guest group information).

For guests: your name (as entered on the RSVP form), attendance choice, meal preference, dietary notes, and answers to any questions configured by your event host. If a plus-one or family member is added, their name is also stored.

How it is used

Guest responses are collected solely to facilitate the RSVP process. They are visible only to the event host through their private dashboard. Ekkoe does not use guest data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond displaying it to the host.

Data retention

All guest data and event information are automatically deleted 30 days after the event date. If no event date is set, data is retained until the host deletes their event. Hosts can delete their event and account at any time from Event Settings.

Who has access

Guest responses are visible only to the event host who created the event. No guest data is shared with third parties. Ekkoe does not sell or share personal data.

Cookies and sessions

Ekkoe uses a session cookie to remember that you have verified your name during the RSVP process. No tracking cookies or third-party analytics are used.

Your rights

If you would like your data corrected or removed before the automatic deletion, contact your event host directly. For questions about the platform itself, reach out to us at hello@ekkoe.ch.
